Outfit Of The Day

Hi everyone :)

It seems like the first day of this year that the sunshine is actually slightly warm, so I dressed up a bit (mainly just to go to the supermarkets haha) and thought I'd do an outfit of the day for once.

'Golden Snitch' necklace
Navy blue skirt decorated with white hearts
                                                               Primark
                                                       Plain white baggy t-shirt
                                                             New Look
                                                              Hello Kitty Ring
                                                                   Tesco

I thought a longer skirt would be perfect for today as its slightly warm but still has a bit of a chill, so tights were still a must. I've also got plain black brogues on. I chose just a plain t-shirt to go with the skirt as it has a pattern on already and didn't want too look over the top and as I was going out I chose my denim jacket and my black handbag with gold chain handles. My favourite thing is probably the golden snitch necklace as I love anything to do with Harry Potter :) I'm not very good at make up anyway aha so I did a simple black winged eyeliner, a little bit of rose coloured blush and a dark red lipstick.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and having a good day :)

Holiday Wishlist!

Hi guys,

I know I haven't been on in ages but I just feel like I've been too busy with other things right now but I've got a holiday planned for May and all I really have for it is bikini's so I had a look online for things I wanted and came up with this wishlist :)

1. Swimsuit - H&M - £19.99
Its like a lilac, black and bright green leopard print swimsuit, I don't have any one pieces and I actually saw this instore the other day and it immediately caught my eye, it's so nice! I like the cut out back part as well.
2. Kelly cut out side cap sleeve knot bodycon dress - Boohoo - £10.00
I don't normally like any dresses with cut out bits round the stomach area as I'm not confident with that area of my body, but I think this one would look lovely if I'm abroad just as a casual daytime dress.
3. Whitney white lace up canvas flatform trainers - Boohoo - £12.00
Wedges are the only sort of heel I can possibly walk in without looking like an idiot and these are lovely. I bought some similair to these from Primark the other day but they were a burgundy colour and they're just so comfy! I wore mine on a night out so they will do for any occassion.
4. Cameo rose grey leather look cap sleeve skater dress - New Look - £16.99
I always buy such boring plain things so this is exactly my sort of style :') only difference is I know in my head that I'd dress it up with a statement necklace and a belt around my waist so another brilliant thing for day or night time! That's the thing I love about being abroad something you're not too sure when to wear it here, you can wear it anytime there because the weather will be so nice.
5. Polka dot and floral butterfly hair clips - New Look - £2.99
If i put my hair extensions in i normally clip my natural hair back either side, just to give it a little bit of style. I've only been using plain black clips before but these are really cute, so cheap as well :)
6. Light blue denim jersey skater skirt - New Look - £14.99
I don't own any sort of skirts at the moment except tight bodycon ones. I really want a looser fitting one and this denim one would look great with any sort of top whether plain black or white or even a bright floral print. This is definitely a must have item!
7. Cat tunnel earrings - New Look - £2.99
I'm like Pat Butcher from Eastenders (RIP haha) when it comes to earrings, I don't own a single pair of boring studs, they're all oversized buttons, or giant pearls, or some chavvy hoops ;) and these are brilliant. Earrings shaped like cats, the head on the front of your ear and the rear of the cat on the back. Absolutely best things ever.

I've chosen all of these things as small cheap things I will take on holiday with me and wear all the time here as well. Has anybody started thinking about a holiday? Let me know :)

Boohoo Wishlist !

Hi guys :)

Soooo it's two days until payday and I feel like I'm literally near death because I haven't bought anything new in weeks :( so obviously I tortured myself and trawled through Boohoo and found loads of things I like, but still can't order until Friday so I thought I'd share them all with you!

1. Floral skater dress - £20 - I absolutely love anything floral, I'm like a granny, I'd happily wear this dress on a summers day or an evening out with some accessories.

2. Lorenah vintage floral heart bag - £18.00 - Such a cute thing! Just absolutely love it so much and think it would make a plain outfit a lot nicer.

3. Nina thick link necklace - Gold - £8.00 - I already have a gold chain necklace but it's a lot chunkier then this and shorter so I really want a long one to wear on a daily basis.

4. Jessica skater skirt - Lilac - £12.00 - I've bought skater dresses before and think they really suit my body shape so this skirt is perfect, especially the colour, I love lilac at the minute! It also comes in tomato, sugar coral, denim blue and black.

5. Peter pan playsuit - £25 - I only bought a couple of play suits last year for summer but thought they were so nice, I feel a lot more comfortable having the shorts on the bottom rather then a skirt and again it's good for day or nightwear, I especially like the lacy neck area.

6. Imani structured satchel - Tan - £30.00 - I need a new day bag and this one looks perfect, I used to have a tan coloured bag from New Look and I literally used it everyday for months on end until the handle nearly fell off, so I love this !

7. Evie - Love on toast - £3.00 - Don't even need this but awh! I love toast and this would make breakfast time more fun printing onto it.

8. Nicola leopard lightning bolt earrings - Brown - £8.00 - Earrings are my favourite accessories and leopard is one of my favourite prints so I will definitely be getting these lovely things.

I love looking at peoples wishlists and seeing what other people like at the moment so if you have one then leave your link below and I'll check it out :)
thanks for reading!

Sunday Reviews.

Hi guys :)

A few posts back I mentioned that I had been using the 'Lee Stafford-for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length treatment', the pot looks like this

I've actually finished the pot now and waiting to be paid again to buy some more because I really loved it! I honestly do think it's brilliant stuff, my hair is shinier, softer and all round just feels a lot healthier, I made a promise to myself to not dye my hair anymore and just use this all the time so I'd have some length in my hair for the summer and so far it's going well. Other bloggers that I've seen that used this product also gave it a really good review, so it's definitely worth buying if you want your hair to grow a bit more. It is eight pounds for each tub though which is a bit expensive, I wouldn't normally spend that much but I'm glad I did in the end. Apparently there's also a shampoo and conditioner that you're meant to use alongside this which helps, so as soon as I get some money I'll be buying both of those. Have any of you guys tried it before? and what did you think?

Also recently I've been really good at keeping my nails painted, I normally do them on a Friday to go with my outfit of that evening. This weekend I did black with a blue/silver glitter over the top.

As you can see the black is by Rimmel, it's number 080 and it's called 'Black Cab' I've actually had this nail varnish for ages and it hasn't even slightly dried up so I'm happy about that. The blue glitter one is from H&M, cost me £3.00 and is called 'Blue Bliss' I bought this over the Christmas period because during December as soon as I saw something with glitter in it, I had to have it, I went glitter mad!

I've been putting this over the top of a solid colour as it is transparent, but it was really good for the money.

Hope you've all had a good weekend! :)

January bits and pieces.

Hi guys!

I've recently moved house and only just got the internet back so I've spent the last few hours looking through everyone's blogs and catching up on Youtubers that I am subscribed too :)

I thought I'd show you a few little goodies I've got recently which to be honest isn't a lot as I got no money for Christmas this year and my wages from work were really stretched this month, booo!

First thing I got was this dress from boohoo.com

I liked it as soon as I saw it because of the cut out bits on the front and back, it's such a simple black dress but these really make it stand out, more so when you actually have it on. It just has plain white buttons from the waist bit right upto the neck. The collar then has tiny gold studs going all the way round which I also love!

There's a closer look at the cut out back bit, it was in the sales for just £18.00 which is great! Although when I got it there was only a few sizes left so I'm not sure what they'll have left now.

Next thing were this belt and bag both from Primark.

I actually bought these the day after my dress arrived as accessories for it. I think they both matched well as they were the same colours and the bag has studs all over it. I've needed a new going out bag for ages anyway and thought this one was perfect, it was only £8.00 and it's just the right size, I don't like having tiny bags to take out and I can't deal with clutches cos I hate having to hold something all night long so a long handle is a necessity for me.

Here's a closer look at the detailing on the belt, a cute little skull with a chain! This was £4.00 and I got it in a size small/medium but I still had to cut a new hole in it to make it that little bit tighter and I haven't even got a tiny waist so I would recommend maybe trying it on in the shop first, unlike me as the sizing is very generous. I bought this just to pop on with the dress to add a bit more detail to it.

Next is velvet leggings from New Look

Now when it comes to velvet I really, really love the look of it, but I literally cannot stand the feel, so literally even buying these, as I stood in the queue I was like, what am I even doing?! But I braved it and got them anyway haha. These were reduced to £12.00 and they are really good quality so I'm very happy with them (even if I can't touch my own legs while I have them on)

and finally I bought a pair of black brogues.

These were £19.99 from New Look and are my new favourite thing to wear on my feet as they go with literally anything! They've got some studded detail down the side and on the front and are the comfiest thing's I've bought in ages. I bought some brown brogues months ago and wore them to death so now it's their turn.

I do apologise about the quality of these pictures because I know it's awful! But at the minute I only have a webcam or my Blackberry to use as my camera has finally packed up completely :(

If you got any goodies in the January sale and have blogged about it then leave your link below and I'll check it out!

2013 Early Wishlist.

We've only just had Christmas and I already want loads of things! I'm so poor at the minute though :(

1. HTC Phone - I've had a Blackberry for ages now and it's possibly one of the worst phones I've ever had, An HTC just seems so perfect for me and everything I want in a phone.

2. Lauren Pope hair extensions. I follow her on Twitter and all the people that comment about her extensions say that they're so nice, really really want some !

3. Primark super cosy tights. In everybodys winter videos they've been saying how good these are, probably the only thing on this list I could actually afford right now haha.

4. Topshop Wolf Collar Tops. Really like wearing shirts at the minute and these would look so good on a shirt of any colour just to bling it up a bit!

5. Revlon Colourburst lipstick in plum. I've only ever worn a dark lipstick for Halloween but really liked it. I normally only buy shades of pink and red for going out but want to try this.

Going to save up and get all of these things ! Except the phone maybe ;)
Hope everyone had a good New Years!

Christmas Haul!

Hey,

Thought I'd update you all as we've all had Christmas now and show you a few of the thing that I got, my friends were very generous this year and I feel so lucky! I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did :)

Here's me wearing some of my new clothes including a black blazer from H&M which was £19.99. I've wanted a blazer for ages as I go out quite a lot and don't really like taking my coat out with me, so this is definitely going to come in handy ! Also a white vest top with a floral cross on it, found that in the New Look sale reduced to £7, it's so cute and quite long so can get away with wearing just leggings under it.

Here's all the main beauty things I got, my friend Alex bought me some new hair straighteners as mine have decided to have a mental spazz and turn themselves off whenever they feel like it. I've never actually heard of the make 'Carmen' but they work brilliantly so far! My mum bought me a necklace and earrings, I'm really into gold things at the moment so I was pleased about those gifts. Another thing I'm looking forward to using is the 'Mark Hill colour hydration bomb' as I dye my hair every couple of months I feel like it never has time to recover so I'm hoping this will do something lovely to my hair!

My friend Ben works at Neal's Yard and sells lots of products that are meant to be organic and good for your body/skin/hair. He got me a rose and geranium body polish,a geranium and orange shower gel anddd a rose and geranium body lotion. They all smell so nice but so far I've only used the shower gel which was a nice change as I normally just buy the imperial leather body washes.

Alex got me this Revlon lipstick it's called 'Cupcake' and it's so nice! I wore it last night when I went out for a bit of a boogie and it lasted so well considering I was drinking throughout the night as well. I have quite dry lips but this was quite like creamy and just was amazing. Definitely would recommend Revlon lipsticks to anyone!

I actually went to Alex's on Christmas day so we could exchange presents and she gave me this as an extra prezzie as she was going to take it back if I didn't have it. It's £12.00 from Primark. It's just a pink shirt with gold buttons all down the front and on each cuff, but the back changes, it has like a flowery see through thing going on, which I think is so nice. I've tried to fold it in the picture so you can see both sides.

And finally my brother bought me this door mat. I love owls! and he kept saying to me "one of your presents you won't be able to use until you have your own place but you'll love it" which is so true haha. It's so nice I just want my own place to put it down!

That's all of my main things I wanted to share with you, so thanks for reading :)

Payday Weekend.

Hey,

So it's Christmas eve, eve and I've got everybody's presents sorted!

Treated myself to a few things in the sale :)

The skull dress is from H&M and I basically just wanted something new to wear on nights out and thought it would look nice with the blazer in the bottom picture and a pair of tights. Got the lilac beanie and the pastel coloured jumper from there as well, the jumper was reduced to ten pounds which was really good and they had a few other colours there as well. Then black pumps with skulls on were from Primark, they are really cute and they had some the same as that either with an anchor on or a moustache which were nice as well and finally the smallest wedges ever ! I'm the worst person when it comes to any kind of heels or wedges I just can't walk in them at all but these are great and so so comfy! They were from River Island reduced to £12 such a bargain and they also had some plain black ones which had lace all over them.

I got these as well, the Rimmel liquid eyeliner I always buy in black. When I go out I don't wear a lot of make-up to be honest simply because I wouldn't even know where to start but I always feel weird if I'm not wearing this. I'd recommend it to anyone. The Carmex lip balm I bought last minute as it was on a stand near the tills. I've known friends to use it but never tried it as I normally buy Vaseline if I want a bit of shine on my lips. I've used it a couple of times already and I don't really like it, it said it would soothe your lips but if anything it burnt as soon as I put it on, so don't think I'll be buying this again.

Finally a picture of me and my bestie Layla before we went out last night.
Ended up in a chavvy nightclub but I had such a good night :)

Busy before Christmas.

Hey,

So I feel like I've had a busy day today, or more like had a lot of things to take pictures of aha,
Went to work all day and had to go straight to the dentist, sat awkwardly near some teenagers so me and my brother started taking pictures of ourselves in the ceiling.

Then when we got back my brother showed me his Christmas gifts from his girlfriend including this creepy Justin Bieber mask.

I'm staying out tomorrow night so I've gotta pack a night bag to stay at my friends Layla's, we're partying as well so chose a day and night outfit, day outfit includes my burgundy bobble hat, possibly the only thing I like about winter is hats and my evening outfit has my disco pants which are another favourite of mine atm.

Also my new phone case came that I put up in my last post and it's so cuteee :)

Probably won't be on until Sunday now as it's payday tomorrow as well so buying the last few prezzies for people and sorting them out.
So excited to be spending Christmas with friends this year, just gonna slob out all day and feel Christmassy <3

First Post Nerves

Hey,

So realised recently that as I have so much spare time on my hands all I've been doing is watching Youtube video Hauls and following peoples lives through their blogs, so I thought I may as well join in!

Only bought a few things recently but thought I'll tell you what I think of them:

'No7 Stay Perfect Primer - £12.50 - Boots'
I spoke to my best friend about this  Alexandra Dean as I told her that my make up kept slipping off during the day, she did actually recommend a different make I think, but on the day I went into town the lady in Boots took me to this one and I gave it a try and it actually does work really well, I normally only wear it under my foundation for nights out and it does make my face look, on the whole a lot nicer and it lasts.

'Lee Stafford for hair that never grows past a certain length treatment - £7.99 - Boots'

I actually first saw this on a Youtube video that Helon 'Melon Lady' did and I instantly though this is what I need for sure! I cut my hair short for the first time ever at the beginning of 2012 where one side was almost shaved and since then it seems to be taking forever to grow, it's only just long enough to tie up now and as my hair's so thin it frustrates me so much! I've been using it for about a week and a half now so hopefully I'll get some results from this :)

'Toni&Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo'
Now I actually got this free from work as I work for Unilever and this is one of their products, so I'm not sure of the price or anything, but dry shampoo is always cheap enough to buy and so handy!
When I've had it before I normally buy the Batiste  Brand and I always thought it had quite a strong smell to it which i didn't particularly like but this one is pretty much odourless and it does the job. In my job I get to wear a rad cap all day so when I finish if i need to pop out somewhere and I don't have the chance to wash my hair in-between this is perfect to spruce it up a bit.

Finally here are a few things I've treated myself to recently:

'White rabbit nightlight - £3.99 - findmeagift.co.uk '
'Berry coloured disco pants - £10 - Boohoo '

'Crowned pig phone case - £1.99 - ebay '

So that's literally everything from recent times, but with Christmas in just under a week I'm sure there'll be other goodies to show you very soon,

thanks for reading :)
